Kaylene Whitaker serves as the Safe Families for Children Coordinator for Northern Michigan at Bethany Christian Services. She loves the opportunity to connect families in crisis with support and lasting connections, enabling families to stay intact. Prior to serving at Bethany, Kaylene served at a camp as the marketing manager and in church communications. Kaylene received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cedarville University and her master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. As a teen, attending camp was the highlight of each summer for Kaylene and it was always a place of growth and belonging.
